A tied spray is the ceremonial silhouette: the long, hand-tied formal arrangement that's carried, presented, or laid as part of a moment that matters. Our Tied Spray is built for ceremony — wedding presentations, sympathy services, anniversary commemorations, formal gifts where the bouquet is part of a ritual rather than just a decoration. It's the format you reach for when the moment deserves something with weight and intention.

What's in this Bouquet

Tied Spray is composed of premium long-stem white roses, calla lilies, lisianthus, and white spray roses, accented with eucalyptus, ruscus, and salal foliage that gives the spray its long elegant line. Every flower is selected for its longevity and color stability — whites are notoriously easy to bruise, and a sub-par white bouquet starts looking tired within hours. We use cultivars chosen specifically for ceremonial work: thicker petals, slower opening, longer vase life from the moment of harvest.

The spray silhouette is intentional. Where a hand-tied bouquet is meant to drop into a vase, a tied spray is composed to be carried, laid horizontally, or presented to someone — typically with the stems exposed and ribbon-bound. The bouquet's center of gravity, the angle of the longest stems, and the relationship between focal flowers and trailing greenery all matter for how the spray reads when carried or photographed.

Perfect For These Occasions

Wedding bouquets and presentation pieces. Tied Spray is sized to be carried by a bride, a maid of honor, or presented at a reception. We can scale up or down at order — note "wedding presentation" at checkout and we'll size and bind appropriately.

Sympathy and memorial services. The white palette is the formal language of memorial flowers. Tied Spray reads as respectful, considered, and seriously selected — never the corporate-sympathy formula.

Graduations and formal achievements. The presentation silhouette works for moments where someone walks across a stage and is handed flowers — the spray is built to be carried and photographed.

Anniversary commemorations. For milestone anniversaries marked formally — silver, golden, diamond — Tied Spray's ceremonial register matches the gravity of the occasion.

Baptism, dedication, and christening services. The whites and creams are appropriate for spiritual ceremonies across faith traditions. Tied Spray is a quiet, reverent gesture.

How We Hand-Craft Every Bouquet

Tied Spray is built by our most senior designers because the silhouette is unforgiving. Every stem visible from a particular angle has to relate to every other stem from that angle. We compose flat on a long bench rather than the spiral hand-tie technique we use for vase bouquets — the spray is built to be seen from the side, and that affects every layering decision.

Stems are cut to length only after the composition is locked in. We bind in two places: a hidden inner tie of natural twine to keep the structure stable, and a visible outer ribbon — typically wide silk or grosgrain in a complementary tone (white, cream, or a soft accent your choice) — hand-tied with a long tail. The visible ribbon is part of the design and visible during the ceremony.

Same-Day Delivery Across California

Tied Spray ships same-day across our delivery zones (Sacramento, Roseville, Folsom, Rocklin, Granite Bay, Citrus Heights, Carmichael, El Dorado Hills, surrounding) when ordered by 2:00 PM Pacific. For ceremonial deliveries — weddings, funerals, formal events — we strongly recommend ordering 24 to 48 hours ahead so we can coordinate timing with the venue and triple-check the composition before it leaves the studio.

Funeral home and venue deliveries: include the service time and the funeral director / venue contact at checkout. We coordinate directly with the venue's flower-receiving protocol and deliver to the right entrance, at the right time, with the right paperwork. We've worked with most Sacramento-area funeral homes and event venues and know each one's preferences.

Caring for Your Flowers

Tied Spray is built to look perfect at a moment — the ceremony, the service, the presentation. After that moment, the spray can be untied and the stems placed in a vase to extend the life of individual flowers. Recut every stem at 45 degrees under running water, use the floral preservative provided, change water every two days. The white roses and lisianthus typically last seven to ten days; the calla lilies hold for five to seven.

For wedding bouquets that the bride or family wants preserved as a keepsake, we partner with a local floral preservation studio that does pressing, resin work, and bouquet drying. Ask at checkout and we'll include their contact information.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I order Tied Spray for a wedding ceremony?

Yes — this is one of our most-ordered wedding silhouettes. Note "wedding" at checkout and we'll scale appropriately and add service-window coordination. For full-wedding ordering (bride, bridesmaids, ceremony pieces, reception), email us directly to discuss the full set.

What ribbon options are available?

Standard is a wide ivory silk ribbon. We can swap to grosgrain in any neutral, satin in custom colors, or add a personalized monogram tag. Specify at checkout or in order notes.

How is Tied Spray packaged for delivery?

The spray ships horizontally in a long sleeve box (we use bespoke ceremonial packaging different from our hand-tied bouquet boxes). The spray arrives composed, ribbon-bound, ready to carry — no assembly on the recipient's end.

Can the recipient untie and use as a vase bouquet afterwards?

Yes. The hidden inner tie can be cut and the spray rebound into a hand-tied silhouette for a vase. Many of our wedding clients re-purpose the bridal bouquet for the head table at the reception this way.

Do you deliver to memorials and funeral homes?

Yes — and we know the protocols. Note the service venue, time, and contact name at checkout, and we'll coordinate the rest.
